The Master of Nursing Science is an academic program that is designed to provide opportunities for nurses to develop advanced skills in professional nursing. The program provides graduates with rigour grounding in research methods, critical analysis and theoretical perspectives that inform clinical nursing. Students will graduate with a sound knowledge of a broad range of research methodologies and methods; the ability to design and conduct a research project in a rigorous and ethical manner; the skill to critically appraise research and make informed decisions for practice change when appropriate and be a critical and informed thinker regarding issues relating to health.
A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Science with a CGPA of at least 3
Or
An equivalent qualification approved by Senate from time to time.
And
Registered with The Malaysia Nurses Board and possesses a current practicing licence
Possess a post basic course in which the duration of study should not be less than 6 months
Or
at least two years experienced working in the specialised areal
Language requirement
Foreign candidates are required to have at least IELTS Band 6 or TOEFL 550 if their first degree is from a university where English is not the medium of instruction.
